Q: I like your website, but do you have a showroom location I can visit to get an even better look at your work?
A: Yes; our Winchester, VA showroom is open 10 AM to 5 PM ET Monday through Friday, and 10 AM to 2 PM Saturday. Other times are available by appointment. Please be sure to contact us for an appointment if you're going to be driving a significant distance, or coming while you're vacationing in our area, even if you plan to arrive during normal hours. We'd hate to miss your visit for any reason.
Q: Can I buy a piece of furniture I see here at your website?
A: The pieces pictured in our online showroom gallery have all been created for and sold to other customers. Because our pieces are handcrafted, each is unique, but we will gladly create a piece for you similar to the one that captured your imagination.
Q: What kind of wood do you use, and where does it come from?
A: Our beds are made of Elm, and our other pieces of a variety of hard and soft woods, such as maple, ash, oak, and pine. All our wood comes from the Shenandoah Valley, and because we are environmentally conscious, we never harvest live timber for our creations.
Q: Some furniture makers mass-produce, and pass their work off as "custom". Do you REALLY do custom work?
A: Yes, absolutely. We pride ourselves on the uniqueness of our pieces, and the fact that there can never be another piece of furniture in the world exactly like the one we'll create for you. We will begin our work from your own ideas or drawings, or render a new design for your approval.
Q: I'm building a home, and want to furnish several rooms with Nature's Designs. When should I contact you?
A: If you've broken ground for your new home, it's the perfect time to contact us. We would love to share in your adventure from start to finish!
Q: What happens if my new home isn't finished when expected?
A: Delays are common, and will be allowed for. We will make every reasonable effort to store your new furniture at no additional cost to you, but we would have to insist that any balance due be paid by whatever date you had previously agreed to remit it to us.
Q: When I order from you, how long will it take to receive my furniture?
A: Please allow six weeks; we will keep you updated throughout the process, and provide you with an estimated time of delivery. If you happen to be in our area, you're welcomed in our showroom, where we always have a few pieces available for immediate purchase.
Q: Do you guarantee your work?
A: Yes; the frame of every piece of Nature's Designs Log Furniture is fully guaranteed, when used in a normal manner. Unless otherwise specified, all pieces are intended for indoor use only, and outdoor use will void this guarantee.
Q: I like what I see here! How do I place an order?
A: We'll be thrilled to welcome you as a customer! Contact us via phone or e-mail to discuss your order. A 50% deposit will be required before we begin the work.
